This just in from India. Im praying as I am sure you are as well. I am also very frustrated over the fact that this senseless violence just seems to continue. I am sorry to say that last night the hindu people came to our house at Kurminingia and looted all the belongings and burnt the house.Still now it is burning.Tonight they are planning to attack House of Hope campus and house at Kalinga.It is my sincere request to you kindly pray for the protection.I hope you remember the house where you stayed with Pastor Randy during your first visit to India.That house is totally burnt.

Sincere and heartiest greetings to you and all your family members in the most loving and living name of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ.
I express my heartfelt thanks to you for your love and unceasing prayer for us and for our district. I am really grateful to you for your valuable prayer and great concern. By the grace of God and your prayer we are safe and doing fine. All the workers of Vision India and children of House of Hope are doing fine in the relief centers. Most of the Christians of our district were in fear from 23rd of august.
On that night one of the Hindu leaders called Samiji Laxananada Sarawasti was killed at Jalespata which is 80 km away from ********. Christians did not kill him, but the hindu people in the country blame the christians. So from that night they attacked christians every where in the district. They burnt churches,christian houses,christian villages,tortured christians, raped girls and killed christian workers. Four of my close friends have died during the persecution. My village kurmingia is demolished and churches were burnt.
I am targeted by them. So after staying four days in the mountain with my family and kids of House of Hope I decided to leave the place. I sent all kids along with Jacqueline to the relief centre which is opened by the central reserve police force at G.Udayagiri. Then I tried to leave the place as they were searching for me.

Again today and on 7th of this month they have a big meeting to make plans for more persecution. Kindly pray that all their plans may fail.
Now there are four relief centers that is in Gudayagiri, Tikabali, Phulbani and Raikia in our Kandhamal district. There are more than 20 thousand christians in the relief. They came to this center after staying four to five days in the mountains. Still there are many people in the mountains. It is my sincere request to you kindly pray for the peace and special protection of the people.

I will send you the detail report of the persecution so that you may share this with your friends and fellow belivers to pray for the people of Kandhamal district and other districts of Orissa.
