This Is an Update form the Pounders family!

Jesus is the Reason for the season And Thats how it is for our family during the Christmas season! We began Our Christmas season by Traveling to Gatlinburg and spending the night in a cabin with My Sister and her family! The next afternoon we traveled down to Chattanooga to spend the weekend with the Summers and sparks(Sonya's Family) We all pitched in some money and rented a house overlooking the city, the view was INCREDIBLE I had such a great time with my family! We rode an old Steam Engine train down to a turn table where we witnessed the turning of the train engine(Hence the name)Not only did the children have a great time but i did too The the next morning we had BIG breakfast cooked by my lovely wife and the rest of the women in the family, And afterwards we exchanged our gifts to each other! Then we had our annual Grill Cook Off! All the men(who want to)will fix their best meat on the grill and the women will fix all the sides, like salads,mash patatoes and bread! Then once you have tried everything you vote on your favorite Meat! This year my son in law and i tied, then we had a tie breaker and he won! I had served Burgers wrapped with bacon with melted cheese on them And my son in law fixed Grilled chicken with bacon on top and then melted cheese placed over all of it, then he served it with O'Charleys honey mustard! After that we did the coin guess! Every year one of the family's does a jar of coins and dollar bills, the closet person who does not go over the amount wins! We had a great time but we had to leave soon! After packing up we went to my parents house to have Christmas with them! We had a great time and a great meal! After all this we headed home and got ready for our Christmas(December 25th)and we also had a great time and My daughter (Alaythea)and her husband(Beej)came over for Christmas Dinner which was exceptionally good! And that concludes our Christmas Update!
